We are more than happy and even advise that an in-home consultation is a valuable "time saver. Either Lisa or one of our interior decorators will come to meet with you and do some fact finding and measuring that will ensure your portrait to be the correct size, and hang in the best possible lighting. Many times ordering too large OR too small doesn’t enhance your portrait.
There is no charge for this valuable service. However, we only offer this service when purchasing a PortraitFusion™ oil painting. |

| Solid colors always work best. Simpler clothes are recommended so that when we look at your finished portrait, we see the subject and not notice the clothing. Three quarter length sleeves for women are very flattering. Darker colors seem to make us all look thinner. However, for a family the white or black shirts and khaki pants looks fantastic - when everyone is wearing that combination, especially on the beach. Linen tops on the beach can add the illusion of extra weight when the wind is blowing. For any questions, please don't hesitate to ask, as clothing is very important in your finished portrait. |

| A sick child isn’t a happy child – as this is an investment for you and your child that will last a lifetime, it is important that your child feel his/her best. Please reschedule your session with us if your child is not feeling well. |
|
| |
| Please inform us if there is any situation we need to know about before the photo session. For example: a disability, extreme shyness, attention deficit disorder, etc. This allows us to prepare and address the situation in a way that will be productive during the session. |

Any child that is over three years old, please plan on letting us work with the child alone. We have found through 25 years+ of experience that this method works best to allow your child to be themselves in front of the camera. If we find your child won’t let you go, please abstain from talking to your child while we are photographing him/her. This is to enable us to build a rapport and get the most natural looks possible. We never use the word “smile” during a session. It immediately creates a very staged attempt at a smile. Instead we say "silly" words, or play games that help them forget what we’re doing. Remind your child of the fun they’ll have here … we have lots of nature (that means bugs and lizards to kids) and this will be a fun time, not a rushed time.
It is imperative that you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment so that your child will get used to the new surroundings and to give us some time to get to know each other. |

When you return in approximately 10 days, you will view your images in a high tech presentation, one that will be guaranteed to leave you with a lasting impression. This appointment is for us to go over your best images with you and we will be happy to assist you in choosing the best value for your budget.
Please bring whoever you need to help you make your decision. Keep in mind any of the images we will show you will be perfect for a portrait. Having too many people involved at your presentation can cloud your decision and make it even more difficult to decide.
Most people prefer not bringing their children when they come to view and order, as it helps them be more relaxed and able to concentrate on the images.
We accept all credit cards and time payments are available. |
